Chances are that we have a good match for you, but are just not listing him/her on the internet. This is Buddy. He is 10 years young. He is parti in color, is housebroken, has natural ears, a docked tail, is nurtured, crate trained, on K9advantix for fleas and ticks, on Iverhart for heartworms, and is up to date on all his shots. He was an owner turn in with the reason being the family was getting a divorce. Buddy was very matted and very thin when he came to SLR. He had to be shaved down to the skin, but his hair will grow back. He is so very playful you would never think he is 10. He loves to play with a ball and play tug-of-war. He will also play with your hands, but doesn't bite very hard. The noise he makes sounds like Coujo. At first I didn't know if he was really mean or what. After being around him for a little while I have found out this is how he plays, whether he is playing with me or the other furbuddies in the house. It is really funny to watch and listen to him.Buddy is a bed hog, the first night I had him I was getting everyone settled for bed and went looking for him and he put himself to bed, (on my bed). I said "ok" but told him he needed to be good. So he has a bed now he shares with me. He seems to have to touch my legs when he is sleeping so when I move in the night he does also and he ends up putting me on the edge of the bed. (Just a word of warning about this habit). HAHA Buddy is just a big cuddler.He seems fearful when you try pet the top of his head. He looks at me as to say WHAT IS THIS? You are not going to hurt me? I always tell him that I will never hit him only love on him. Maybe someday this behavior will go away. He will bark when someone is outside or rings the doorbell. He quiets down right away when he is sure everything is safe. He seems to need to be around family. He will sit at your feet or next to you on the couch, or follow you around the house.Buddy is a sweet sweet boy with lots of love yet to share. He look a little ruff in his pictures but I can assure you he is a diamond in the "ruff". Don't pass up on this special guy!
