We only adopt dogs out to homes in our coverage area of: AL, FL, GA, MS, SC & TN. Chances are that we have a good match for you, but are just not listing him/her on the internet. Jake and Doc are being fostered in north Florida by Dot. After your phone interview, you may contact their foster Mom Dot at [email removed] Hi Everyone, we are Doc and Jake. We may not be blood brothers, but we are as close as any two brothers could be. Because of that, our foster Mom says we must be adopted together. Our story has a sad side to it. We had a great life with a Mom who loved us very much until we were about 6 and 6.5 yrs. old. Then our Mom got sick and died. Her son, our human uncle, loved us too, so we went to live with him. Not long after we got settled in, he got very sick. He called Schnauzer Love Rescue to help us. Not long after the nice lady from SLR picked us up, he died too. We were adopted by a couple in Florida, and everything was good for a while. Then our new parents decided to split up and there was no place for us. Again the folks at SLR came to our rescue. So here we are at 8.5 yrs. and 9 yrs. young, being fostered in north Florida. Jake is the handsome black and silver boy in the pictures and Doc is the other handsome salt and pepper boy. These boys are very well adjusted despite what they have been through. They were both a little overweight when they arrived but are getting them down to a good weight now. Jake still has a little way to go on that. They weigh around 21 and 20 lbs. Both boys have cropped ears and docked tails. They are both housebroken, crate trained, and leash trained. They are up to date on shots, and are of course, neutered. They have adapted very well to living with several other Schnauzers of varying ages. They love to ride in a car, and also love to go for a walk. Jake also has that cute Schnauzer Woo Woo that he does. Jake is a little more outgoing that Doc, but both boys like nothing better than to be loved. Doc especially enjoys sitting in your lap. If you are looking for two loving Schnauzers to add to your family, who will come in and act like they have always been there, and are absolutely no trouble, Jake and Doc are the boys for you. They are both in good health and looking forward to a new FOREVER chapter in their lives.
